Brief Description

Come join the American Cancer Society's GPS and Friends Team (Winder, GA) for the 6th Annual Hope for a Cure 5K. The start/finish will be at Russell Middle School, 84 W Midland Ave, Winder, GA 30680. Proceeds from the race will benefit the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life Team, Barrow County.

Series affiliation

The race is part of the 2012 Black Bag Racing Series and the 2012 Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Series.

Shirts and Goodies

100% cotton t-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and will be given to race day registrations while supplies last. There will be plenty of water and snacks after the race.

Directions from Atlanta

I-85 N - Exit 126 Chateau Elan Exit. Take a right on Hwy 211 – stay straight for about 10 miles. Take a left on McNeil Rd until it dead ends. Take right on Candler - left on Bellview. Go until dead end take right on Midland – watch for signs – parking & registration.

Additional Information

Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.classicraceservices.com, www.runningintheusa.com, www.active.com, and www.coolrunning.com. Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 9:00AM.
