Brief Description

5k run/walk in Downtown Wilmington. Register at active.com. Race will include a t-shirt for participation with food and awards after the finish. Course

Scenic 3.1 mile run or walk through downtown Wilmington. Asphalt and brick surfaces. Start/finish at USCGC DILIGENCE. USATF certified course.

Entry Fee

Pre-registration received by March 22: $20.00. After March 22: $25.00. Students and military with I.D.: $15.00.

Early Packet Pick-Up

Early Packet Pickup is at Omega Sports, Hanover Center, Oleander Drive, on Friday, March 23rd from 4-7 pm and Fat Tony's Restaurant from 7-10pm. Racers receive a 10% discount on most store merchandise and a discount on pasta dinner's during this period. Race day registration is at USCGC DILIGENCE moorings from 6:30 to 7:30 am. The First 300 registered runners/walkers will receive DILIGENCE Dash T-shirts. Additional T-shirts will be available for a $10 donation. Please contact race director.

Awards

RUN: Awards to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall men's and women's finishers. Age group awards to top three in each men's and women's age group. Running age groups: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up. WALK: Awards to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall men's and women's finishers. Age group awards to 1st in each men's and women's age group. Walk age groups: 49 & under, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up.

Pure Life Health Food and Vitamins will be offering 10% off all products and smoothies in the store on the day of the race. Their doors will open at 0700.
