Explore the warmth, beauty and charm of the heart of the Willamette Valley of Oregon. This new event produced by Destination Races is the fourth in the Wine Country Half Marathon series. The course winds through the heart of the Willamette Valley, starting at Stoller Winery and finishing in the town of Carlton for the popular post-race Wine & Music Festival. This dynamic and scenic wine region is home to over 200 wineries encompassing multiple American Viticulture Appellations and is recognized as one of the top Pinot Noir producing regions in the world. This is a destination event attracting runners from all over the country. The race has a limited field of 2,000 runners in its inaugural year.

Optional Extras

EXTRA Wine Glass and Tasting:
A logo'd wine glass good for the post-race wine tasting is included in the entry fee. Runners may purchase an extra logo'd wine glass with tasting for a family member or guest. The cost is $15 online. If still available, you may also purchase them in person at the post-race festival for $20. Be prepared to show ID at the wine glass booth. (Limit 2 extra glasses)

Early Packet Pickup Party in Portland and/or race day pickup: $20
Thursday September 2nd from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, location Avalon Hotel and Spa. If you wish to pick up your packet on Thursday evening in Portland you may sign up for our early packet pickup party to include wine tasting, appetizers, music, and guest speaker. You must sign up and pay for this option. Your packet will be available at the expo and then again on race day at the start area if you signed up for, but missed the previous pickup options.

Race Orientation & Welcome Reception at Stoller Winery: $35
Friday September 3rd, 2:00pm to 7:00pm.Winery tours, wine tasting, catered BBQ, live music, games, photo exhibit and race orientation Q & A sessions. $35 includes beverages and food.

Pre-Race Dinner at the Allison Inn and Spa : $60
Gourmet Pasta and Protein Buffet Dinner Jory Enjoy your pre-race dinner with Vegetarian options in a beautiful outdoor setting at the Allison. Guest speaker, fabulous Oregon wines and other beverages.)

The Race Bus will leave promptly at 5:15am from the Avalon Hotel and Spa arriving at Stoller Winery Start Line at 6:10am. Return trip from Pine Street Finish line Wine and Music Festival in Carlton at 11:30am arriving in Portland at 12:25pm. $30 per person. Register in advance.

Enjoy a fresh country breakfast with mimosa’s and other beverages while watching the runners at the relay transition area and 5.5 mile point on the course. Parking on-site. $25 per person. Register in advance.

Wrap Party at Carlton Hill Winery
A special opportunity to close out the festivities with staff and sponsors at Carlton Hill Winery overlooking Yamhill Valley. Sponsored by Yamhill Valley News Register. Limited spots. $40 per person includes bottle of Carlton Hill wine. Sign up online.

Refund, Transfers and Credit Policy

Refunds are allowed up until 90 days prior to the race with a $15 processing fee. NO refunds are allowed after that date. You must email us at registration@destinationraces.com to request a refund. You may transfer a registration up until the end of the expo for a fee of $20. The person replacing you must fill out the form with payment and provide your confirmation number on the form. Transfers made within 30 days of the event will not be reflected online and must be done at the expo and race bibs will not be personalized. Email us to receive a transfer application if 30 days or more prior to the event. If you do not attend the race, you are allowed to apply 50% of your entry fee to another Destination Races Wine Country Half Marathon. Please email registration@destinationraces.com when registration is open for a mail-in entry form to your race of choice to apply your credit. If you are registered for the half marathon and you and another registered participant would like to switch to the 2-person relay you may ask to be transferred. If within 30 days of the race we'll do our best to accommodate you at the expo if any bibs are left.
