Additional Information

Thank you for your supporting for this event this coming September 13th. It is only with the support of individuals like yourself and companies which sponsor these events which make it possible to be able to present the range of events for your enjoyment each year.

As you know, this event was to include both a 10 Mile race and a 5K Run/Walk. In addition there was also the Expo that included the 3rd Annual Families with ASD Autism exposition that was scheduled to follow the races. The whole purpose of this event was to go towards helping families in the areas of Autism and Education.

Due to lack of funding and circumstances outside our control, we had to start making decisions over the last couple of weeks to start paring back the event in order to meet financial obligations. This started with the canceling of the 5K event a few weeks ago because there were not enough registrants. Then last week we had to make the decision to cancel either the 10 mile race or the expo. We chose to give up the race this year and cancel it in favor of the expo. This was not an easy decision, but one we felt was in the best interest of all involved. We did not want to present you as an athlete with a sub-par event, but wanted to make sure that you experience a well executed event and enjoyed the experience.

We are very sorry to have to make this decision so late and sorry for the inconvenience that this might be causing you.

Once again, we would like to thank you for your support and wish you the very best in your health, fitness, and training goals. Please keep an eye on our website this next year as the goal will be to present a quality event to you next year. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
