Brief Description

The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA and a part of the Grand Slam Series of Ultra running.The course is a shamrock loop consisting of 70% dirt roads with the rest on woods trails and a few miles of pavement.The course both climbs and descends 14,000 to 15,000 feet.

$100.00 refund is available if entry is canceled before 6/1/12.

Additional Information

Each year, 300 runners attempt to finish this hilly race over beautiful Vermont back roads and trails under the 30 hour cutoff point, and a well-trained few finish in under 24 hours. The Vermont 100 is one of the few Ultra’s that still runs with horses.

The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is a fund raising event for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports. Vermont Adaptive is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities. They promote independence and further equality through access and instruction to sports and recreational opportunities.

    • Saturday, 7/21

  • 100 Mile Race Start - 4:00 AM
  • 100K Race Start - 9:00 AM

    • Sunday, 7/22

  • 100K Race Ends - 8:30 AM
  • 100 Mile Race Ends - 10:00 AM
  • Awards BBQ Banquet - 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
