The Mayor's Walk/Run to "Break the Silence" of Ovarian Cancer is sponsored by the Northern NJ National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC). The event helps raise awareness and fight the ravages of Ovarian Cancer.

Ovarian Cancer is a silent disease. Known for its subtle, whispering symptoms, ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, accounting for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.
