Brief Description

On July 3, 1984 at the age of 20, while working as a volunteer Fireman for the Borough of West Long Branch, Fire Co. #2, Michael W. Thorne, paid the supreme sacrifice...his life. A scholarship exists in Michael's memory. 100% of the proceeds from this race will go directly to fund the scholarship

ATTENTION FIREMEN!!!

Create a team for the Michael W. Thorne Scholarship Run. If you have 5 or more members from the same Fire Department sign up, you will get a discounted price (pre-registration MAIL-IN only) of $15 per participant. You can run or walk, just participate. Late Registration & Shirt-Pickup

There will be race day registration and late registration & shirt pick-up on Saturday, May 18, from 11am-4pm at the WLB Firehouse #2 on Oceanport Avenue.
Race Day Reg will open at 7:00 am and close promptly at 8:45am!
Entry Fee: $25
Kids' Races Fee: $15.00
