Brief Description

Come to beautiful West Jefferson, NC to Run or Walk in the morning and Pick out your Choose & Cut Christmas Tree with the family in the afternoon. This race and walk is to help raise money for the visually impaired to pay for eye exams and eye glasses. Event is being put on by the West Jefferson Lion's Club in partner ship with Hampton Inn, Ashe County Christmas Tree Association & Ashe High Country Realty & Vacation Rentals.

parking is available at starting line area look up address. 8 West Second Street, West Jefferson, NC 28694 on your mapping program or on GPS.

Pancake Breakfast

Breakfast available both before and after the race. Will also be raising money for the visually impaired. $6 online and $7 at the door. Located at Fellowship Hall of First Baptist West Jefferson.

Additional Information

5K starts at 10:00 am and the 1mi Fun Run/Walk starts at 10:15am. The course meanders through and around the town of West Jefferson with rolling hills. Prizes will be Christmas Trees and Christmas Wreathes and Top Three Finishers in the 5k will Recieve a pair of Red Star Sunglasses.
