Early Bird: Adults $24, Adults 55+ yrs. $20, kids (12 and under) $10 by 10/08/10; After 10/08/10: $29 (adults); $25 (55+), and $12 (kids)

Brief Description

Five trail walks, three competitive runs, and two "ride at your own pace" bike options, choices for every level of fitness. Events access Western New York's highest ridge. Competitive events include 5K, 10K trail races as well as the 15 Mi. Julie Taylor Ogden Memorial Trail Run. Road bike choices are 25mi. or 33mi.. Walk options include a casual 2 mi. (road), a 2 Mi. "Active Older Adults' Experience" (trail), as well as 6, 9, or 15mi. (trail) walks.

Additional Information

Only 1.100 entries allowed for 2010! A great family outdoor experience, all Ridgewalk & Run participants conclude their events at the Jones Memorial Hospital "Finish Line Arena" set on a scenic horse farm 4 miles south of town. Entry fee includes tee shirt and amenity bag, all food and trail support, as well as busing to trailheads from registration and back to registration from the "Finish Line Arena". Entry limited to first 1000 participants.

Please check-in during the times shown on the Courses & Maps page on www.ridgewalk.com. Buses will be provided from Registration area to your starting point.


Buses
All events, except the 2 mile walk, have a common finish line. A bus will be waiting at that event to transport participants to the Jones Memorial Hospital Finish Line Arena. Only participants may ride the buses to the starting points.


Drop Bags
All participants, are urged to bring dry clothing, socks and shoes. You most likely will get wet on any of the trail walks. A drop bag labeled with your number will be given to you at the registration desk and transported to the Finish Line Arena where a changing area is provided.


Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in the 5K & 10K Runs, and the 15 Mile Trail Run, to the 1st male and female finisher in each age category, and first place overall male and female winners in each running event will receive medal and award. f. All participants are eligible for door prizes at the 2:00 pm awards ceremony.


Jones Memorial Hospital Finish Line Arena
At the completion of all Ridgewalk & Run events participants may claim their drop bag, change clothes, and enjoy refreshment at the Finish Line Arena. The FLA is located on a horse farm along Regan Rd. off of Ford's Brook Rd., Alma Twp. Food, music, health clinics, sports massage, prize drawings, and kids' activities may be enjoyed by family and friends. Kids' activities will include games, hay rides,. Free parking.

Getting There ...
From points North: take Rt. 19 south to the Rt. 417 intersection or I-390 south to Rt. 17, Exit 30 to Wellsville, 13 mi.

From points East or West: Take Rt. 417 to the intersection of Rt. 19 or Rt. 17 to Exit 30 south to Wellsvillle.
