Brief Description

YoKid provides kids yoga classes to help children from all socioeconomic backgrounds foster self-awareness. With greater self-awareness, children can realize their full potential physically, academically, socially, and emotionally. YoKid yoga programs are held in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.

Please note that your registration fee for YoKid is completely non-refundable.

Additional Information

All the money raised by athletes on YoKid’s Rock ‘n’ Roll USA Marathon & CareFirst Rock ‘n ‘ Roll USA ½ Marathon team will directly support yoga programs for at-risk and under-served youth in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Each YoKid athlete commits to raising $400* and will receive an entry slot in to the race, a YoKid t-shirt, a comprehensive 16 week training plan, a "Yoga for Runners" workshop, a monthly coached group run, weekly organized runs, a personalized online fundraising page, and fundraising tips and guidance.

The $50 registration fee counts towards the $400 fundraising minimum.

*Participants must complete the required fundraising by 2/15/2013 in order to receive a guaranteed race entry.
