Registration fee is $30. After March 1st the registration fee increases to $35. All registration fees are non refundable.

Brief Description

Come celebrate the greenest day of the year! The run/walk starts and finishes at Haines Point, in East Potomac Park, taking you along some of the most scenic views in D.C. Bring the family (kids included) out for a day in the park.

Start Time

The fun run and walk will start promptly at 8am.

Registration

Registration check in will begin at 7am. Registration fee is per person ages 12 and older. Registration fee includes a T-shirt, finishing medal, and music before, during, and after the race. We are also serving post race goodies and beverages to recharge your batteries! There is no guarantee that T-shirts and medals will be available for online registrations completed after March 1st. T-Shirts and race numbers will be distributed at check-in

Parking

There will be plenty of parking for the race. The street will be closed to vehicles for the race. follow signs and event personnel to the start/finish area.

Race Day Rules and Guidelines For Safety

Strollers & Children are welcome to participate! If you would like to run with a stroller please be considerate others and always yield the right of way. Dogs are family too and are permitted on the course. Please be sure to clean any mess that may occur on the course. Headphones are permitted, however you shall assume full responsibility for their use. You must be able to hear all instructions given by race course personnel and be aware of your surroundings at all time.

Directions: From 395 South (Virginia) Take I-395 North over the 14th St. bridge Once on the bridge, stay in the right lane Take the first exit on the other side of the bridge labeled "East Potomac Park /Park Police" Proceed to stop sign and take a left on Buckeye Drive There will be signs posted for shuttle stops From I-66 West Take 66 East towards Washington Take the VA-110 SOUTH exit towards Alexandria/Pentagon, exit #75 ?Take 395 North/US-1 North towards Washington over the 14th St. bridge Once on the bridge, stay in the right lane Take the first exit on the other side of the bridge labeled "East Potomac Park /Park Police" Proceed to stop sign and take a left on Buckeye Drive There will be signs posted for shuttle stops From Washington, DC East Potomac Park can be reached either from 15th St., NW, or from 395 South via the 9th St. tunnel. From Midtown and Northeast DC Take 9th St. south ?9th St. tunnel is south of Constitution Ave Go through tunnel and keep right Take exit for 395 South As you merge onto 395 South stay in the far right lane Take the first exit on the right labeled "Potomac Park/Park Police" This exit will curve sharply to the right. Go to stop sign and turn right There will be signs posted for shuttle stops From Downtown and 15th St. DC Take 15th St. south through the Mall and past the US Treasury building At the stop light, 15th St. will bear left and merge with Maine Ave, take an immediate right, following signs for 395 South Immediately stay in the left lane and take the first left following signs for "Hains Point Golf and Tennis" (This will put you on Ohio Drive) There will be signs posted for shuttle stops From Metro Take the Orange or Blue line to the Smithsonian stop There are two exits: take the one marked Independence Ave Walk straight up Independence Ave. Cross 14th St. and turn left on 15th, which bears left and merges into Maine Ave. Cross Maine Ave. at the double cross walk and continue on left hand side across bridge. Take your first left across from the sign, East Potomac Park…Golf and Tennis. There will be signs posted for shuttle stops
