Brief Description
One of the largest races in the United States is also a salute to those who serve. The course takes thousands of runners past the United States’ most significant landmarks as it winds through Washington D.C., and Arlington, Va., ending at the Marine Corps War Memorial. The scenic course has given the race a loyal following and a fitting nickname: “The Marathon of the Monuments”
