Additional Information
Head to RFK Stadium -- dressed in all black -- on Friday, November 9 for a fun run unlike any race you've ever seen. We'll be loaded up with a ton of awesome glow-in-the-dark swag, including an official race T-shirt. As we run, music will be piped into speakers along the course, so we're all moving to the same beat. The last thing you should worry about is your race time -- walkers are totally welcome, and the only prizes handed out will be for best costume, best dancer, and other light-hearted superlatives.
And to "light up the night" not just here in DC but across the globe, we'll be donating 1,000 solar lamps to school children in Somalia without electricity, enabling them to read and study at night. If that's not enough to brighten up your evening, after the run we'll gather inside the Armory for a massive glow-in-the-dark after-party. Once there, we'll get one complimentary beer per person for those who are 21+ (soda for those 18+) -- and, best of all, the knowledge that we've provided a light in the darkness for those in need.
