Earlier Start Time
The race will start at 7:45 am to be able to handle all the runners who want to participate and comply with the National Park Service regulations. All participants must complete the course prior to 9:30 am or we risk losing our permit.

The Jingle All the Way 10K has teamed up with ActiveTrainer coaches to provide training plans specifically for this race. These plans are designed for athletes of ALL levels, from the first-timer all the way up to the most experienced athlete. Included with your training plan is an online calendar, reporting tools, training calculators, maps, daily emails, and much more!

Awards
Prizes will be awarded to the top ten male and female finishers. Valuable merchandise or gift certificates will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over.
There will also be random awards during the post-race ceremony - you must be present to win random prizes.
Co-Ed Team Challenge
Form a team to represent your company, running club, friends, or running partners.
Teams may be composed of up to ten members with the fastest four scoring. Of the first four team finishers, one must be a man and one must be a woman.

No Race Day Registration
It is a violation of our permit for any event to accept funds (registration fees) on National Park Service property. In order to continue conducting races in both East and West Potomac Parks we must comply with NPS regulations. Please register before December 9.
ChronoTrack Timing and Scoring
Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 10K race. The system uses a computer tag which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.
Special Friday Evening Packet Pick-up
Register in person or pick up your bib, t-shirt, jingle bells, and disposable Chrono-Track D-tag on Friday December 11 from 5 to 8 pm. We will be at the Cleveland Park Potomac River Running store at at 3513 Connecticut Avenue, NW, in the Sam's Park & Stop center, steps from the Cleveland Park Metro on the Red Line. Potomac River Running Store offers the best brands in running, walking, and triathlon shoes, apparel, and accessories as well as a variety of lifestyle brands.
Packet Pickup and Weekend Registration
Register in person or pick up your bib, t-shirt, jingle bells, and disposable Chrono-Track D-tag on Friday December 11, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm or Saturday from 11:00 to 3:00 pm upstairs in the Post Office Pavilion, 12th & Pennsylvania Ave. Nearby Metro stations are Federal Triangle (Blue & Orange lines) and Metro Center (Red line).
On race day morning, packet pickup begins at 6:30 am near the start/finish line in West Potomac Park. Runners must register before race day.
Picking Up for Your Friends and family
We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for them.
Parking and Metro
There is no parking on Ohio Drive in West Potomac Park. There is no parking along Independence Avenue at any time. Look for side street parking north of Constitution Avenue NW between 18th - 23rd Streets NW.
Metro opens at 7am on Sunday. Please consider having a friend drop you off at 23rd & Constitution Avenue NW before the run, then ride Metro home. The closest stop to the event site is Foggy Bottom/GWU on the orange and blue lines. The stop is located at 23rd & H Streets NW.
