We are Now on Facebook

ChronoTrack Timing and Scoring

Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 10K race. The system uses a computer "tag" which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.

Walk around the Tidal Basin

We offer a walk that will appeal to the entire family. We will provide a guide to lead you past monuments and beautiful scenery. Walkers are eligible for random awards. Have fun!

No Race day Registration

It is a violation for any event to accept funds (registration fees) on National Park Service property. We want to continue to conduct races in both East and West Potomac Parks for your enjoyment. You must register before Sunday.

Valuable merchandise or gift certificates will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over. There will also be random awards during the post-race ceremony - you must be present to win random prizes.
