Brief Description

PLEASE NOTE: The full marathon will NOT be held until further notice. All other races remain the same. The Dutchess County Classic has evolved over 30 years into a fun filled day for all age groups and all skill levels. Please join us the day before at the Pre-Race/Expo (at Arlington High School on Route 55 in Lagrangeville) from 11am-4pm.

Directions from North

From points north South on Taconic Parkway to Arthursburg Road (right turn), 2 miles to Robinson Lane (turn left), 1 mile to Wappingers Recreation Area on left

Directions From South

From New York City and points south Taconic Parkway north to Route 52 (left off exit) go approx. 1 mile, make right onto Route 376. Stay on 376 winding through Hopewell Jct. to Van Wyke School. Make left staying on 376. Go 1 mile, turn right onto Robinson Lane. 1 mile to Wappingers Recreation Area, start and finish point of Classic (on right).

Directions from Route 9, North or South

From Route 9, north or south Route 9 to Wappingers Falls, east on Route 93, 4 miles to Route 376 (turn right), 3/4 mile to Robinson Lane (turn left), 1 mile to Wappingers Recreation Area, start and finish point of Classic (on left).

Additional Information

Half Marathon - Mostly flat, some rolling hills, USATF certified. Miles marked, Water stations every 1.5 to 2 miles 5K - Fast and flat, out and back 1 MILE for KIDS also flat and fast.out and back. This race will be held before any other races of the day, Race Packets may be picked up the day before at the Pre-race party/Expo (at Arlington High School on Route 55 in Lagrangeville) from 11am-4pm or the day of race from 7 to 8:15 am Pre-Registration may be done the day before at the pre-race party/Expo (at Arlington High School on Route 55 in Lagrangeville) from 11am-4pm 1/2 Marathon $30.00 5K $17.00 Kids 1 mile $6.00
