Brief Description

The 15th Annual Lisa Burmeister Run For Hope 1K Fun Run and 5K Race. The race will be an out and back along the dam. Held in honor of a Baylor University Detachment 810 AFROTC Cadet who suddenly passed away from Leukemia during her Sophomore year. The race raises awareness and funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

PACKET PICK-UP AND LATE REGISTRATION

Packet Pick-up and late registration will be available from 3-5PM at the Student Union Building (SUB) on Baylor University's campus across from the Bear Habitat. Visitor parking is available. Packet pick-up and Late registration will also be available race morning starting at 8AM at Lake Waco Dam.

1K Fun Run

STARTS AT approximately 8:45AM followed by the 5K at 9:00AM!

Additional Information

This year we want to have a battle of the Student Groups: AFROTC, Army ROTC, Baylor Crew, Baylor Triathlon, and any group willing to put up runners for the 5K race. More details will be administered on this category before/on race day. There will be Overall and Age Group Awards, gift certificates from Hill Country Running, ROAD ID, and 4 certificates worth a complimentary pair of running shoes ($100) from Asics Running!
