Additional Information
Inspired Events invites all runners and walkers to participate in the 6th Annual Turkey Derby 10K-5K Run/Walk, William's Mile and the SEAL Team Memorial Challenge. The course starts and finishes at The Virginia Beach Sportsplex in Virginia Beach (2181 Landtown Rd, Virginia Beach, VA.). It is predominantly a trail run with a little bit of asphalt mixed in. All participants will received a food and drink ticket for after the event.
Race Times:
6:30AM-8:00 AM Registration Starts
8:00 AM 10K Run (6.2 Miles)
9:15 AM 5K Run (3.1 Miles)
10:15 AM 1 William's Mile Fun Run
This year we have added a wave start.
Awards:
Awards will be given to top three male and Female overall and for top three Male and Female in age group 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-over, will be presented immediately after the race. All SEAL Team Memorial Challenge participants completing both races will receive medals.
Course Supervision:
Runners must follow traffic flow and yield the right-of-way to vehicular traffic. Course marshals will be located at critical checkpoints on the course. Water will be supplied on the course.
Registration:
$55 Minimum Donation for the SEAL Team Memorial Challenge, $50 Minimum Donation for 10K, $30 Minimum Donation Per Entry for the 5K, and $15.00 for William's One Mile. Packet pickup is Thursday November 22th, 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at Virginia Beach Sportsplex. All pre-registered entries up through November 20th will receive a T-shirt. Race day registrations not guaranteed a T-shirt.
