Brief Description

Louise Elementary School PTA in Vienna presents "The Sunshine 5K and Fun Run". As a public Elementary School, Louise Archer serves students from eight different elementary schools, covering the whole of Vienna. The focus of the event is to promote healthy family activity, as well as foster a sense of community.

IMPORTANT Registration Update October 14th 10am

Race weekend registration is still open. However we cannot guarantee a race shirt with your registration

Warm Up and Start location

Pre race warm up will start outisde Evolution gym on Old Dominion road alongside the trail. Both races will start outside the old train station on the trail across from Evolution gym.

Race Day Registration

Friday from 6:30pm to 8pm at Potomac River Running store in Tysons Corner Satuday from 10-1pm at Evolution Gym in Vienna (216 Dominion Road NE, Vienna) Sunday from 6:30am to 7:30am at Evolution Gym in Vienna

Additional Information

The Fun Run starts at 8am and the 5K starts at 8:30am. All 1K participants receive finish ribbon. Award categories for the 5K include top two finishers: 8-and-under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (for each gender). Pre/Post-Race Festivities: Rock and Roll Warm up, Awards ceremony and post-race refreshments. Strollers are welcome, they will start 30 seconds after the 5K or 1K start.
