Brief Description

The race courses are a combination of pavement and gravel (packed pea sized rock). The course is mostly flat with a few gentle hills. For the 50 States Plus DC marathon discount enter: 50DC in the code box.

Additional Information

NEW!! We will have chip timing available for all races. Packets will be available for pick up from 2pm until 6pm on Saturday, and 5:15am until race time on Sunday. The Swan Lake Marathon and other races are held as a fundraiser for Swan Lake Christian Camp. Swan Lake Christian Camp is a non-profit organization that holds summer and winter camps for youth ages 4-Sr. High, reaching kids for Christ. During the off-season, the facilities can be rented for family reunions, church groups, school groups, etc. We want this to be a family friendly marathon so there are a few things that cater to this. The pasta meal on Saturday is affordable and the Sunday noon meal is a free-will donation that benefits our summer camping program. There will also be activities and events that the families of participants can enjoy during the race or afterwards including frisbee golf, swimming, canoeing etc. We want to honor God this weekend and feel free to give us suggestions as to how we can make it better.
