Brief Description

The LLS Conquistadores Sprint Triathlon was setup to raise awareness of the fight against Blood Cancers. Proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Help us Conquer Blood Cancers!

Triathlon Distance

0.5km Swim (Ocean), 20km Bike (Road), 5km Run (Road).

USAT Ranking Divisions:

For the purpose of USAT rankings, age divisions are broken down into the following for both men & women: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Event will implement USA Triathlon’s Age Group Competition rule: All age group athletes must compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31st of the year of the event.

Awards

Awards will be given to Overall Male & Female, and to the top 3 finishers in following groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Relay Awards to 1st., 2nd. & 3rd. Teams

Event Sactioning

USA Triathlon will sanction The LLS Conquistadores Triathlon. To complete the online registration process, athletes will need to enter their USAT annual license number or purchase a one-day license ($12.00 USD) during online registration. Athletes must bring their photo identification and show proof of current USAT membership during athlete check-in. Otherwise, it will be required to purchase a one day license on-site. USAT FEES:

All athletes will need to enter their USAT annual license number or purchase a one-day license ($12.00 USD) during online registration. Incudingl ALL Relay team members.

Race Packet Pickup

Athletes need to pick up packets at our host shop, Runner's Depot, Vero Plaza 436 21st Street, Vero Beach, 32963 between 10am and 5pm.

Refund Policy

Absolutely No Refunds/No Rain Date/No Transfers. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness to Blood Cancers and to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thank you.

Directions

From Beachland Blvd. north on A1A to Jaycee Park.

Parking:

Limited Parking available on Jaycee Park (arrive early). No Parking on South Lot (Transition Area). Additional parking across from park on A1A, and at the Boardwalk (Ocean Dr.)

Accomodations at the Disney Resort Vero Beach

If You need to book rooms at the Resort call (772) 234-2073 as soon as practicable to confirm availability and make reservations. You or they will need to mention the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for an event discount. Rooms subject to availability. Reservations may also be made at these rates for the 3 days before, or3 days after Event if you wishing to extend your stay.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
