Course Information

This evening 3 or 6 mile run or walk coupled with the arrival of summer, Costume Contest, Live Band "The Reds" and post-event festivities will create a fun, community celebration. By participating in this great event, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds to health and fitness of kids in our community.

Events and Activities

Pre-race Costume Contest Begins at 5:00pm Solo Costume - Adult and Kids Division Partner/Team Costume - Adult and Kids Division Post-race Festivities from 6:30-10:00pm: *Street Dance and Live Band "The Reds" - an awesome pop/rock band. We're going to rock the night away! *Massage/Stretch *Vendors/Health Fair *Awards Ceremony - 8:00pm

Awards and Celebration

For each the 3 and 6 mile Events: • Trophies for Top Three Men and Women Overall Running and Walking Division • Trophies for Top 3 Men and Women in the following Age Groups: Under 10, 10-14yrs, 15-19yrs, 20-24yrs, 25-29yrs, 30-34yrs, 35-39yrs, 40-44yrs, 45-49yrs, 50-54yrs, 55-59yrs, 60-64yrs, 65-69yrs, 70+ You get a winners’ ribbon just for showing up!!

Be Prepared

Train with us at Northwest Personal Training & Northwest Women's Fitness Club so you're in the best shape of your life and can get to the finish line, no problem! Learn to Run programs are available. Participate in the Fit Right NW's walking and running clinics every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. You can find more information at the following link - http://www.getfitlivefit.org/

What to bring

Well bring the obvious - your running shoes, your running gear depending on weather, your chip timing piece, your race bib number etc. Also remember to bring a change of clothes for after the event so you can enjoy the post-race festivities and concert. Your fellow runners and walkers will appreciate this! :) You may be more comfortable too with a warm blanket and/or chair so you can totally relax and enjoy the band after the event.
