$20 for 5K. $10 for the 1M add $5 one week before the race
The course is USATF Certified, This beautiful 5K run wraps around the quaint downtown roads of the historical town of Van Alstyne. Famous for beauty untouched by city skyscrappers or packed with rows of businesses, VA still pocesses wide open space and trails of nature, railroad tracks, historical homes, gardens, and trails we run every day!
Overall Male & Female Age Groups: Male & Female: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 - 69, 70+
Packet pickup will be race day at the Van Alstyne Physical Therapy and Fitness Center starting at 7:00am. T-shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-reigistered runners. T-shirt sizes CANNOT be guaranteed.
There will be Downtown parking marked and posted on Race Day. Please allow for traffic and follow all signs for appropriate parking available.
The race will be timed by Race Chip Timing. Chips will be picked up the morning of the race. The timing chip is to be worn around your ANKLE. If you do not wear the chip, you will not be timed. The chips will be collected by volunteers at the finish line. Race results can be found shortly after the race at www.racechiptiming.com
The 1 mile fun run will start at 8am (30 minutes before the 5K)
