Brief Description

Join us for the 9th annual YWCA 5K Race against Racism! Proceeds from the race will support educational programming on social justice and diversity issues to help our community.

Course Information
The 5K course starts at the intersection of E Windsor Road and South Race Street proceeds East on Windsor then runs through Meadowbrook Park. You will finish at the pavilion. There will be mile markers at each mile. Aide station will be posted at the halfway mark. For the safety of participants, no bikes, scooters, in-line skates, or animals are permitted. Walkers pushing a stroller will start at the back of the starting area.

About Registration
Register early and save money!
Registration cost is $20 until July 31, $25 August 1-October 12, Race day registration is $35.
T-shirts are subject to availability for race day registrants.Each entrant must complete a registration form - either online via this site or by mailing in the downloadable registration form.
Registration fees are non-refundable.

Awards:
Body ‘N Sole Gift Certificates will be awarded to age groups (M/F): 19and under(3), 20-29(3), 30-39(3), 40-49(3), 50-59(3), 60 and above(2).
Random drawings will be given out at the event and awards will be given to the overall Male/Female Open/Masters winners.

Race Day Registrations will be accepted.
To register the day of the race, please visit the registration booth between 8:00 am - 9:15 am.
Race day registration will be $35.00, paid in cash or check to the YWCA of the University of Illinois.
