Brief Description

Come run the hills of Saguaro: our rolling 8 mile course loops its way through a beautiful cactus forest at Saguaro National Park East in the foothills of the scenic Rincon Mountains. A 5k run and social walk is also offered, covering a flatter course & suitable for strollers & families. A $5 National Park Service permit is included in your entry fee.

Race day is hot!

Saguaro is known for its hilly course and hot temperatures -- please prepare accordingly: practice hills, acclimate to the heat, bring water, wear cool clothing, and adjust your pace to account for the demands of the race.

Beneficiaries

The TMC Saguaro Labor Day Run provides funds to a range of important regional organizations including Friends of Saguaro National Park, Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection, Watershed Management, the WildEarth Guardians, and the National Park Service.

Additional Information

Regularly the Arizona State 8-Mile Championship race and part of the 2012 Desert Grand Prix presented by the Running Shop. Classic desert running at its finest!
