Brief Description

This year, we’re trying something new—instead of our long-standing Fall 10-miler, we’re pleased to announce Tucson’s first-ever Downtown half-marathon—featuring A-Mountain. Set your sights on the local heights—if you can run A-Mountain, you can do anything! The TMC Get Moving Tucson start/finish and staging area is in Downtown Tucson.

Run the heart of historic Tucson

The start/finish and staging area will be on Church Street just north of Congress. The Half-Marathon heads west and climbs A-Mountain, for the most beautiful morning views in Southern Arizona. See www.azroadrunners.org for course details.

Third event in the Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown

Get Moving Tucson is the third event of the new Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown -- a celebration of the life of Gabe Zimmerman, lost in the tragic January shooting in Tucson. The Triple Crown also celebrates the best of Tucson -- let's aspire to help others and excel ourselves -- let's live up to our possibilities!! If you can climb A-Mountain, you can do anything!. . . .

We're committed to the best event in town

Great weekend activity: lots of live music and plenty of family-friendly activities as part of the Tucson Meet Yourself festival; prize money & age group awards in both events; raffle prizes; 5k children under 10 are free; great food and drink; and awesome courses throughout Downtown Tucson
