Brief Description

Sabino Canyon, located in the Coronado National Forest, is one of the most beautiful desert canyons in the Southwest and a true jewel of the Tucson community. SAR’s Sabino Canyon Sunset Run is a unique 7.4 mile race with the opportunity to experience the challenges of a great race in a truly magnificent setting. Capacity is limited and the race fills quickly! This race has reached capacity each of the last three years. The Sabino Canyon Sunset Run is part of The Running Shop Grand Prix.

Additional Information

The race is full and registration is closed. Registrations which have been distributed to Performance Footwear (5350 E Broadway Blvd , (520) 790-0017) may still be available. Packet pick-up: visit www.azroadrunners.org for more information. Awards to top three overall and masters - male/female and to top three in five year age group starting at under 19. T shirts to all finishers (shirts not guaranteed for registrations received after April 1, 2011). Awards ceremony follows race at 7:30pm. Parking fee of $5 will be collected by Parks Service upon entering parking lot, unless you have an annual pass. Parking is also available at Canyon View Elementary School (5725 N. Sabino Canyon Road) and Esperero Middle School (5801 N. Sabino Canyon Road). Please note that parking is not allowed on Sabino Canyon Road north of Sunrise Drive. No bicycles, skateboards or dogs allowed.
