Family Fun Walk
This shorter trek is an opportunity for families and younger children to participate in the
Turkey Trot. Participants can either obtain pledges or pay a registration fee to participate. Like the 5k event, all proceeds directly benefit children and youth who cannot afford Y of Central Maryland
services in Towson. Pledge participants will
receive awards based on the amount of pledged dollars they collect for the Y of Central Maryland. Pledge forms are available at ymaryland.org or at the Towson Family Center Y of Central Maryland front desk.

Course:
The Race begins at the Y of Central MD; entrance on Chesapeake Avenue, runs through the streets of West Towson and Southland Hills finishes at the Y of Central MD Chesapeake Avenue entrance.
Child Watch:
Available from 8:30-10:00 a.m. This service is free to Y of Central MD members. Non-members fee is $5.00 per child or $8 per family.

When you participate in a Y of Central Maryland Turkey Trot, you do so much more than improve your health and have fun with neighbors and friends. Children who need a safe haven after school, who need the presence of caring, responsible role models in life, who need an extra boost to be well-prepared for school and life.
