This 5K race is a beautiful run alongside one of Maryland's best kept "secret" trout streams. Proceeds from the event will be used to support restoration efforts along the Jones Falls and other Maryland watersheds.
When I first clicked on to the the map site it took me to California, despite typing in a Baltimore area zip code on the web page. Go figure. Scroll down past the California map, the next map will get you to Meadowwood.
Due to police permit requirements on State Highway 25 (Falls Road), runners need to complete the course by 8:45 AM. That translates into approximately a 12 minute per mile pace. No strollers, pets, roller skates or other wheeled devices.
Awards to top three male/female and first masters. Also three deep in ten-year age groups. Random awards during the post-race celebration, which will include music, food, and beverages.
Pre-registered packet pickup at Falls Road Running Store, 6247 Falls Road, on Saturday November 12 from 11 AM until 3 PM. Race day registration and packet pick-up at Meadowwood Park from 7 AM until 7:50 AM.
Limited parking space is available at the parking lot at Meadowwood Park. Once the parking capacity is reached, volunteers will direct cars to the parking lots at Greenspring Station directly across the street.
