This is a totally different course than discontinued Flatwoods 4 Run. This course runs primarily on a great mix of very nice single track and double track. The course through the scrub and pines is a very scenic and peaceful as it winds through Flatwoods Park. This race is held rain or shine.
ALL PRE-REGISTERED RUNNERS will receive a heavy duty custom t-shirt. The post race festivities include a WAFFLE BREAKFAST, music by a DJ, give-a-ways... THIS RACE IS A FUNDRAISER FOR FLATWOODS PARK.
Custom trophies to Overall Male and Female; Overall Masters Male and Female and Custom Awards to Top 20 Male and Top 20 Female Runners.
From I-75 take the Fletcher Ave. exit (the Hidden River exit) and go east 4.7 miles. (Fletcher Ave. changes to Morris Bridge Road) Look on the left for the main entrance to Flatwoods. A street sign is posted by the side of the road. Drive another .4 miles to the parking lot and restrooms. Follow signs to race start (note: there is a $2 contribution to enter the park)
The pre-registered price is $27 for the 5K and $40 for the 10 Mile. Race day entry is $32 and $45. Fees are non-refundable.
