5th Annual Helping Hand Run 5K/10K Benefiting Hospice of the Valley 2013

Brief Description

The Alpha Kappa Psi chapter at Arizona State University is presenting the 5th annual Helping Hand Run which benefits Hospice of the Valley. 100% of the proceeds go to the Hospice fund which helps add comfort to patients during the final days of their lives as well as help the families financially reduce stress. Our goal this year is to donate $6,000! Help us in our journey to provide for a worthy cause!

Registration/ Check-In Tables

Registration and Sign-In will be located at the North Soccer field (Near Baseline Road). Registration/Check-In opens at 8:00 am.

Shirts

Shirts will be picked up the day of the event after you have checked-in

Parking

The Start/Finish Line is located on the NORTH SOCCER FIELD off of Baseline Road. The closest low is accessible from Baseline road.

Additional Information

There will be a 1 mile walk for those of you who want to enjoy a easy morning mile and mingle. At the event there will be breakfast and vendors to enhance your runner experience. There will also be a booth at the run collecting old IPods. Any type of Ipod that you are willing to give away will be donated to Hospice of the Valley. They are starting a new Dementia program. These Ipods will be given to patients with playlists of songs. Come and support a great cause! Come out and enjoy your Sunday with exercise and help your community! *since this run is for fun, in order to keep costs low and donations to HOV high, there are no timing chips
