Brief Description

A scenic mountain half-marathon run on hilly fire roads in Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and CA State Park. 8th annual. A hilly yet run-able half-marathon... men's course record 1:13:47 (2007).

Directions

From the 101 freeway: Go south on Reseda Blvd. approximately 4-miles to the dead end at Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park. Please follow directions of the parking attendants.

Race Day Registration

Race day registration will be available from 6:15AM until 7:50AM. $65.00 cash or check payable to "UltraLadies". No credit cards please.

PLEASE OBEY ALL TRAFFIC RULES INSIDE THE PARK

PLEASE NOTE: The speed limit inside the park is 15mph. There is also a STOP SIGN at the park exit. This sign is photo enforced. Please be sure you make a full and complete stop (no California stops). Failure to comply with the above will likely result in a citation.

Late Registrations

T-shirts and/or shirt sizes are not guaranteed for participants who register after 6/7/09.

Please CARPOOL with fellow runners, if possible. Parking is extremely limited inside the park. Please follow the directions of the parking attendants. Please display your parking pass prominently on your dashboard.

RRCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE; TRAIL RUNNER TROPHY SERIES RACE. Awards: Overall male/female; Age division awards first through third in 5-year divisions, including 70+ division. Sponsor donated prizes to first place age division winners. T-shirt and medal to all finishers. Free runner's raffle.
