ABOUT THE RACE
The Dream Mile is the flagship event in Vibha's continued efforts to increase awareness about the plight of underprivileged children. It has come a long way since its inception in 1998. It has grown from being a small event attended primarily by volunteers and friends to a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in the various cities in America. The increasing participation and enthusiasm for this event just goes to show how strongly people feel about the cause of underprivileged children. This is the third year we are having the Dream Mile 5K/10K run and walk in Houston. Please come and participate in this event, so that we can all bring a smile in the lives of less fortunate children.

The 10K will be two loops of the 5K course.
PACKET PICK-UP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Date: November 4th
Time: 10:00 to 5:00 pm
Venue: Finish Line Sports, 13895 SW Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478
Race day registration & packet pickup will be available at Lost Creek Park Pavilion starting around 6:00 a.m. on the day of the race.
RACE TIMING
The race will be chip timed. The timing chip will be be available in the packet. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the race to receive the chips in time. There will be a separate table for disturbing chips matching your bib number. Please note: The walk will not be timed.
AWARDS & AGE GROUPS
Awards will be given in the following categories:
1) Overall Male and Female
2) Top two Male and Female finishers in the following age groups:
Below 18
18-34
35-50
51 and above
DOOR/RAFFLE PRIZES
There will be numerous door/raffle prizes donated by our generous sponsors.
