Brief Description

The First Veterans 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 1041 and the Veterans Council of Martin County. Proceeds from the event are used for the Veterans Homeless Prevention Rapid Response Fund, The Memorial Brick Marker Program and Van Transportation to take elderly and disabled veterans to the VA hospital in West Palm Beach.

Additional Information

The race starts promptly at 7 AM. Packet pickup and same day registration opens at 6 AM. Sport shirts are provided to the first 150 registrants. Awards will be provided to Overall Male and Female winners as well as age groups, three deep in five year age groups from 14 and under to 79 and over. Timing services are provided by ITS Perfect Timing.
