It's the 1st Annual Thunder Goes Pink 5K Run/Walk. Join together with friends, family and co-workers for a run/walk around Stockton's Weber Point to help raise funds for local breast cancer awarness and prevention initiatives. Players for the Thunder will be on-hand to hlep kick-off the race. Stick around after the event to watch the team practive on the pink ice!
If you would like to help collect pledges for our event beneficiaries, a pledge form is available. 100% of pledges will be split evenly between St. joseph's Foundation - Breast Cancer Services and Americian Cancer Society - Stockton Field Office.
7:30 am-8:45 am - Check-in and race day registration opens at Stockton Arena 8:45 am - Warm Up 9:00 am - Start of 5K Run/Walk 10:00 am - Arena open to watch the Thunder practice10:40 am - Awards ceremony inside the Arena.
Youth ages 10 & under - $10. Ages 11 and over - $30 until 11/2/11 - $35 thereafter. Fees include event t-shirt and goodie bag to the first 300 pre-registered participants but also available to additional runners while supplies last. All participants will also be entered into a raffle which includes a chance to ride on the Zamboni during a Thunder game and more!
A fast flat 5K loop through beautiful downtown Stockton and waterfront setting. Start and finish will be at Stockton Arena, home of the Stockton Thunder.
Numbers and T-shirts are not sent out in advance. Please pick-up race day.
Trophies for Open and and Top Masters (45+) finishers. Medals three deep, male and female in each age division 13 & under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+
