Brief Description

This is a 5K/10K and team challenge 5K event showing off Stockton’s new ballpark and redeveloped waterfront area. The course provides great views of the Stockton Arena, Banner Island Ballpark, Weber Event Center and the water of McCloud Lake. The net proceeds support the much needed work of the Greater Stockton Emergency Food Bank.

5K Run/Walk or 10K Run - $30 thru Nov. 14th, $35 Nov. 15th-25th, $40. race day
Kids 1/4 Mile Run (for ages 9 & under) $10.thru Nov 14th, $15. Nov. 15th-25th, $20. on race day (kids' run includes shirt)
CompetitiveTeam challenge / 3 categories; All male, All female, Co-ed. $90. per 3-person team thru Nov. 14th, $105. Nov 15th-25th, $120. race day. NOTE; Team captains must coordinate team registration for team. Free Thunder hockey tickets to all paid participants!

Online Reg. closes 11:59 pm on Nov. 22, 2009. Mailed Reg forms and fees must be postmarked no later than Nov. 16th - Team Captain coordinates reg. for team. Kids 1/4 Mile Run at 8:00 a.m.
5K/10K and 5K teams start at 8:30 am.

Course

5K is run/walk, 10K is RUN ONLY. 5K Teams is a competitive run . Course; 5K and 10K are flat, fast out/ back course on paved streets. Course map at event. Kids run 1/4 mile (for ages 9 & under). All finishes are inside the Stockton Ballpark!. Will take place rain or shine! Dogs, skateboards, skates NOT allowed on race course. Dog owners will be asked to either take dog home or refrain from participating in event!

T-shirts

The first 2,500 pre-registered participants are guaranteed to receive a colorful long sleeved t-shirt.All efforts will be made to offer the shirt size you request however, shirt size cannot be guaranteed so pre-register early!

Packet Pick-Up

Make use of reg. and/or packet pick up Fleet Feet Sports, Stockton 6541 Pacific Ave in Stockton (next to Trader Joe's) Nov. 24th & 25th (highly recommended) *Reg.at this time $35. for 5K/10K and $105. for 5K teams. Kids run $15. Bring 2 cans or packages of non-perishable food for 15% off of your Fleet Feet Sports purchases that day. Food collected will go to the Emergency Food Bank! Packets and same-day registration also available at the event site on race morning 6:30-8:20

Team Challenge 5K

Form teams of 3 runners and compete against other teams in same category. Categories; 1. All male 2. All female 3. Co-ed. Teams may be NO LESS AND NO MORE than 3 runners.Multiple teams can register. Each runner registers separately and MUST list team name exactly as others.Team captains: using paper form? Submit all members' SIGNED applications and fees together!

Awards

Top 3 TEAMS per category receive unique plaques.Teams NOT eligible for indiv. awards.Compete as team member OR as individual. Overall M/F 10K winners get Brooks jacket & duffle Overall M/F 5K winners get Brooks tech. shirt and duffle,courtesy Fleet Feet Stockton!. Age grp M & F winners get custom technical shirts, 1st -3rd M&F in each age grp get custom medals (12 and under,13 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, 80 and over).Kids Runners (9 and below) get ribbons
