Fees

$70 full metric, $60 half metric w/premium, $40 full, $30 half without premium, both kid's races are $10 each. F/H Metric fees go up $10 race day.

Brief Description

26.2K is 16.3 miles and the half is 8.1 miles. Course starts at Matapeake State Park, follows the paved South Island trail. 5 water/sports drink stations on the course. Prizes awarded to top finishers by gender and age group. All Full Metric participants receive a finishers medal. We just added Kid's Mini-Metric .262K (.163 mile) for kids age 8-12 and a Mini-Half Metric .131K (.081 mile) for kids age 7 and under. Each kid receives a participation ribbon, snack bag, water and Gatorade.

Additional Information

Joining us this year is Rebecca Meyer the Season 8 At Home Winner of the BIGGEST LOSER! She is running the Half Metric course as part of her 50 in 50 by 30 challenge to complete 50 races in 50 states before she turns 30 in 2014! Walkers are encouraged to participate however the course will only be open until 11:30am. Come walk on the same Half Metric course as Rebecca from the Biggest Loser! Watch out for PURPLE PEOPLE! They are the Team in Training participants who trained and raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Yell "GO TEAM" as you pass them or as they pass you!
