Location/Course:
The 5K run features a flat asphalt track through quiet residential area near pier.
Start/Finish/Registration for both races will be at Mallery Park on St. Simons Island. (Mallery Park is just north of Kings Way on Mallery Street).
Pre-race packet pickup: July 3rd from 4pm-6pm at the St. Simons Island Casino at Neptune Park in the Village area.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up:
6:00 am - 7:15 am, Mallery Park, St. Simons Island.
Active prices - $20 thru June 19; $22 thereafter until midnight July 2; $25 thereafter until noon July 3.

Race Times
One Mile Fun Run @ 7:30 --
5K @ 8:00 am.
Applications available at local sporting goods stores, area health clubs, from the Golden Isles Track Club & www.active.com to register online.
All PRE-REGISTERED participants by July 1 will be guaranteed a high quality T-shirt! Registrations received July 2 - race day will receive shirts while supplies last. There is no walkers division, but walkers are welcome!

Awards for 5K Race:
Unique awards presented to the Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female. The first Male and first Female that finishes the 5K race will receive the Overall Award regardless of age.
One Team Award will be presented to the team with the most 5K participants. Each Team Member MUST note team name on entry form.
Top three 5K males and females in each of the following age groups will receive island-themed awards: 9 & under; 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 -74, 75 & over.
Awards for One Mile Fun Run:
Awards for the overall top three finishers in the one mile fun run will be presented. All one mile fun run participants will receive a Independence Day goodie.
Awards Ceremony will be held in Mallery Park near the finish after results are completed.
NO dogs, strollers, baby joggers or roller blades will be allowed in the races. Insurance requires immediate runner disqualification if violated.
