Your entry fee includes a mug, commemorative Winter Carnival button and coupon book. Also available for purchase on race day at Securian's merchandise booth are long-sleeved cotton and technical t-shirts, and other Winter Carnival merchandise (while supplies last).

Race Day Photos

Photographers from ASI Photography will be on site taking photos of runners/walkers, spectators and volunteers. Photos will be available for sale within one week of the event at www.asiphoto.com.

YMCA Showers Available

Runners may shower at no charge after the race at the Skyway YMCA, located through the skyway and across the street from Securian (photo ID required).

PACE Groups

We will have pacers to help runners reach their goals. The following pace groups will be offered: 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20,and 2:30.

PACE Group Details

There is no fee and no pre registration required. Pacers will run even splits, carry a large sign, and motivate you to help reach your goal. Pacers will be available at registration to answer questions and to give you tips. You do not have to run with a pacer the entire race. Meet your pacer at the start line beginning 30 minutes before the start. Contact Sam at pacersam@yahoo.com with questions.

Half Marathon:
 The field is not limited; however, the course closes at 11:30 a.m. Race number pickup will be at Securian 401 Building atrium on street level. Completed (mail-in) registration forms and the $30 entry fee must be received by January 16, to be processed for pickup. Registration for the Half Marathon will be accepted on race day at Securian from 7:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m. (Day-of race entry fee for the Half Marathon is $45.)

5K:
Completed (mail-in) registration forms and the $25 entry fee must be received by January 16. Registration for the 5K will be accepted on race day from 7:30 a.m.-9 a.m. at Securian 401 Building atrium on street level. (Day-of-race entry fee for the 5K is $35.)

All entry fees are nonrefundable.

PLACE:
Securian is located at the intersection of Sixth and Robert streets in St. Paul. Registration will be held in the 401 Building atrium on street level. Ramp and meter parking facilities are located in and around Securian. Meters are enforced on Saturdays.

COURSE:
 Both the Half Marathon and 5K will start at Securian on the corner of Sixth and Jackson streets.

The Half Marathon course leaves Securian to the south and then turns west following Shepard Road out to East Mississippi River Road. Near Cleveland Avenue the course turns around and returns to Securian.

The 5K follows the same course out 1.5 miles and then returns to Securian.

Half Marathon splits will be given at mile 1, halfway, mile 10 and finish. Water will be available in Securian's 400 Building atrium and at miles 4 and 8. Medical units will be available at the start/finish line and at the halfway point of the Half Marathon.

HALF MARATHON NOTE: Shepard Road will be held open until 11:30 a.m. By that time all participants must be back to Jackson Street. (No walkers allowed in the Half Marathon. Walkers welcome in the 5K.)
