Brief Description

On January 28th, 2009, St. Augustine, FL residents, Renee' and Jim Wauldron lost their young son, Don.....just 22. Don was a Great young man who dedicated his time to helping others in need. Don supported the Alternative Spring Break where students use their Spring Breaks to travel and help others. His family has started a Foundation in his name dedicated to promoting his favorite cause..The Alternative Spring Break. This will be the 1st Annual Don's FRIENDS 5K Run/Walk.

Directions & Packet Pick UP

This race will begin from the St.Augstine Beach Pier Pavillion. From US Hwy1, cross over the 312 Bridge and proceed East to Beach. This is a 2 day event. April 9th - Packet pick-up from 11:00AM till 8:00PM. April 10th, race day, registration & packet pick-up from 7:00AM till 8:15AM. Be there Early! Enjoy the FUN at the OCEAN FRONT Pier Pavillion for 2 days! Music, Vendors, Food...Beer too!

Don's Foundation

Proceeds from this race will be donated to Universities that promote Don's favorite cause, The Alternative Spring Break. Students choose to spend their Spring Breaks traveling to help others in need. See Don's web site www.DonsFRIEND.com for more info.

Additional Information

This will be a FAST, FLAT & FUN 3.1 mile race. We have a 2 day event centered at the Ocean Front, St. Augustine Pier Pavilion. There will be Food, Music, Vendors, and even a beer Tent. Plan on spending 2 days with us! AWARDS for all age groups.
