Kids 1 mile fun run! (Ages 6-12 only) All fun run participants receive t-shirt and finishers prize. 5K and 10K offers prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall, and for the top 3 finishers in each of 13 age groups. The course is flat and fast with aid stations at every mile.
Registration in the 5K and 10K includes the awesome Gator Run tech-shirt, goodie bag, doorprizes and refreshments. Commemorative Pins to the first 500 entrants!
Over the past five years, participants in the Gator Run have helped to raise over $30,000 for worthy organizations. This year the Rotary Club of Simi Sunset is proud to announce the primary beneficiary for the 6th Annual Gator Run is Special Olympics of Ventura County.
Special Olympics Ventura County is a grassroots organization whose funding comes from and remains in Ventura County. Donations are used to support over 700 Ventura County athletes, ages 8 and up, in 10 different year-round sports programs (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter) at over 20 different training sites, county-wide. All programs are provided at no cost.
