The 8th Annual, SCHEELS High Cliff Triathlon is once again the “Official Badger State Games” Triathlon for 2011. High Cliff State Park is one of the most picturesque locations in Northeast Wisconsin. The bike and run both feature a "climb" up High Cliff, the signature of the event!

USAT Certified Event

All participants must have an annual USAT membership or purchase a one-day license for $10. The results will be scored and posted in the annual national rankings.

Registration Fees Go Up On-Day

On-Day: Sprint $70, Spr Relay $40/ea; Half $125, Half Relay $60/ea

Registration & Packet Pick-up

Friday, June 17 from 12 - 8:30 p.m. at Lake Park Swim and Fitness! You may register as well as pick-up your packet during this time. There will also be scheduled course talks & clinics throughout the day. Park passes will also be available for purchase.

On-day Registration and packet pick-up will be available at High Cliff State Park from 5:30 - 6:45 a.m.

Distances

Half Iron: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run; Sprint: 1/4 mile swim, 22 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Swim Course

The swim starts at the beach inside the park on Lake Winnebago. The swim parallels the shore with many buoys for sighting. The sprint is a turn around point. The Half Iron course is a rectangle layout; same as Ironman Wisconsin.

Bike Course

Both courses start by going up the famous "High Cliff" hill. A few rolling hills take you along Lake Winnebago's east side shoreline. The Half Iron course has 3 water/Gatorade hand off stations.

Run Course

Both run courses go through High Cliff State Park area including up the hill to start. The runs are mostly on trails with plenty of Gatorade and water. The Half Iron course is a double loop with an ice station and water stations with fruit, Hammergel and carbs.

Awards

Midwest Sports Events prides themselves with unique awards! Overall awards to the top female & male in each distance and age group winners in the following 5-year age categories: 14 & under to 95 plus. Awards to the top 3 relay and Athena & Clydesdale divisions. Participation Medal to all who complete the Half Ironman. Part of the 5-STAR Series.

Midwest Sports Events Amenities

All participants receive a dri wick shirt, goody bag, swim cap, chip timing, and plenty of entertainment. Finishers' medals for the half! Post event buffet complete with healthy foods to refuel.

Park Information

A State Park Pass is required; purchase a one day pass for $7 or a two-day pass for $12. Paases can be purchased at Registration on Friday. No Dogs allowed in the park.

Refund Policy

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2011 TO 2012 EVENT There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year events.

RACE FEE TRANSFER There will be NO TRANSFER OF FEES from one race to another.

Midwest Sports Events 5-STAR Series Earn Free Event Entries through the 5 STAR series: Pay for any 5 - enter another event for free. Pay for 8 events - enter 2 other events for free. Pay for 10 events - enter 3 other events for free.

Price of the free event(s) you choose does not matter. It can be for one with the highest entry fee. At the end of the year, all 5 STAR participants receive a gift. If you are ranked in the top 3 in the 5 STAR Series overall ranking, you receive an additional prize. You can register for 5 all at once or as you go. You must do your free event in 2011.
