The Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon start and end at the historic Seattle Center in downtown Seattle, offering sweeping vistas as you traverse the streets of the Emerald City. The Marathon course is USATF and AIMS certified and is a Boston qualifier.
The Seattle Marathon 5K Race: presented by Road Runner Sports is a 3.1 mile race perfect for runners, walkers and families. Dogs on leash and strollers are welcome. This year’s course starts 3rd & Mercer at Seattle Center, travels south on 5th Avenue, turns onto 2nd Avenue for an out-and-back, and finishes at the International Fountain at Seattle Center.
The Seattle Children's Kids Marathon promotes fitness, reading and good deeds for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Kids complete a full 26.2 mile marathon at a rate that is fun and safe for their growing bodies -- one mile at a time. Kids are also encouraged to read 13 books and perform 13 Do Rights. On Race Day, the kids gather at Seattle Center to complete the final 1.2 miles together in a celebratory event that includes kids-style medals, finisher certificates, space blankets, t-shirts, goody bags, food and lots of fun!
