Brief Description

The Valley’s Premier Evening Road Race Returns! We are pleased to announce the 2012 Night Run 8K [USATF certified/chip-timed] & 3 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday May 12, 2012, at Civic Center Mall in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. Presented by Scottsdale Healthcare. Proceeds benefit Workshops for Youth & Families, an Arizona 501(c)3 non-profit that provides day-long and week-long workshops for teens, fostering personal leadership, character development, and resiliency.

Additional Information

This unique Race & Fun Run/Walk has been a Scottsdale tradition for more than 25 years. The party starts and ends at beautiful Civic Center Mall in Old Town, Scottsdale. The fast and spectacular 8K road course takes you down city streets, through residential neighborhoods, the nightclub district, down Camelback, the Greenbelt and culminates with the Scottsdale Stadium Stretch and Drinkwater Dip. Sprint to the finish line then relax and enjoy refreshments, fun, and live music by Repeat Offenders. All participants receive a commemorative race shirt and goodie bag. Top 8K finishers will be given awards. Fun Run/Walk is non-competitive. Please join us to raise money for, and awareness of, a great cause, www.workshopsaz.org! IF YOU REGISTER ONLINE ON MAY 10, 11, OR 12, YOUR PACKET WILL BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN 5:30-7:00pm at the race site ("Owl's Nest"), Civic Center Mall, near City Hall. YOUR PACKET WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE PRE-RACE PICKUP LOCATIONS AT RUNNING STORES.
