The PACE BEARS cordially invite you to meet your marathon goals with the help of their Adirondack backwoods experience. Whether you are aiming for a 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30 or 4:45 finish, these bears are fully carbo loaded and ready to help you. MILITARY CAN RUN THE MARATHON & HALF FOR FREE

MILITARY CAN RUN THE MARATHON & HALF FOR FREE: Registration fees waived for Military: Active Duty, Guard and Reserve for the Marathon - Limited to first 60 entries received. Half Marathon - Limited to first 30 entries received. You must present your CAC card at Packet Pickup to obtain your race bib & chip. Go to www.adirondackmarathon.org to register free.

5K & 10K Saturday, 9/24 at 9:30am sharp at the Town Hall, 6307 Main Street (Route 9) in Chestertown.
Kids 1K Fun Run - Saturday, 9/24 at 2pm in Schroon Lake, for ages 4-12. Age appropriate races, parent's presence is required. Registration fee $10.
Pasta Dinner Saturday evening at Word of Life Inn, Schroon Lake, NY from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. $13, Children under 5 are free.
Childrens' Fun Run - Saturday, 9/24 at 2pm for ages 4-12. Age appropriate races, parent's presence is required. Registration fee $10.
Marathon Sunday, 9/25 at 8:50am. Limited to 500 runners. Windshirts for the Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay Teams are available on a first come, first served basis at the Expo and Packet Pickup. Start time 8:50 AM sharp. Staging area in the Town Park on Route 9 and Dock Street. Time to complete this race will be six (6) hours. Marathon Early Bird Start (non competitive) at 7 AM. Time to complete this race will be eight (8) hours.
Half Marathon Sunday, 9/25 at 10am. The Half Marathon will be run along with the Full Marathon on Sunday, September 25th. The Half Marathon sells out every year in advance so register early!!! Limited to 700 runners. Windshirts for the Marthon, Half Marathon and Relay are available on a first come, first served basis at the Expo and Packet Pickup. The runners will run the easier half of the course. The Half Marathon runners begin at the halfway point of the Marathon. Complimentary transportation is provided to registered Half Marathoners. Half Marathoners should also be at the Marathon Staging Area by 8:30am.
2 Person Marathon Relay Sunday, 9/25. Relay Teams should be at the Marathon Staging Area by 8:30am. Limited to 100 Teams. Windshirts for the Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay Teams are available on a first come, first served basis at the Expo and Packet Pickup.
Marathon, 2 Person Marathon Relay and Half Marathon EXPO & Packet Pick-up in Schroon Lake:
• Saturday 9/24/11 - EXPO & PACKET PICKUP - Schroon Lake Central School, 1125 US Route 9. 11am – 5pm.
• Sunday: 9/25/11 - PACKET PICKUP ONLY – Schroon Lake Town Hall, 15 Leland Avenue. 7am – 8:15am
