Water stations are at miles 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, and finish line. First aid is at miles 5, 7, 9 and 12, ambulance service on site if necessary. Call outs at miles 1, 5 & 10. RFID Chip Timing System. $35 Lost chip fee. Check out www.shutterfly for photos of last years race.
Medals are awarded to Top 3 Male and Female in the following catagories: Master's, Overall, 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70+. Awards ceremony at 11:15 am.
All proceeds from the BCHM, supports the maintence, construction and promotion of the Butler Freeport Community Trail, an all volunteer maintained 21- mile rail trail and a non-profit organization. This is our major fundraiser for the year.
All entrants registered by October 1, 2011 are guaranteed a technical tee. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION, NO TRANSFERS AFTER OCTOBER 1st. NO REFUNDS.
Packet pick up and parking are at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Rd., Sarver, PA 16055, all registrants will be shuttled to the STARTING line (Winfield Fire Dept. 194 Brose Rd., Cabot, PA 16023).
PACKET PICK UP is from 7 am to 8:30 am ONLY, last shuttle leaves PROMPTLY at 8:30 am . Belongings will be transported from the starting line to the finish (bags provided).
FINISH LINE is at Riverside Park, Riverside Dr., Freeport, PA 16229, with shuttling service back to Lernerville. Items such as previous years race shirts will be available for sale at the finish line. Chirpractor Dan McCarty will be available to rub out any cramps. We offer a variety of food for the entrants at the finish line such as: bananas, bagels, pizza, Smiley cookies along with water, gatorade and runners favorite hot apple cider.
