Brief Description

13th year for the fabulous race. The Germain Toyota of Sarasota 5K Classic will start and finish at beautiful South Lido Park. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be on the gorgeous sands of South Lido Beach. Enjoy the beaches or the arts & crafts show, shopping or dining on St Armands Circle following the race. One of the locals' favorite family events.

Race Beneficiary

13th Annual Germain Toyota of Sarasota 5K Classic and 1 Mile Beach Fun Run & Walk benefit the special athletes of Special Olympics Sarasota County.

Participant Shirts

5K: First 400 pre-registered 5K participants receive a technical, wicking shirt! 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: pre-registered participants receive a cotton t-shirt.

5K Course

USATF Certified Course. Race from South Lido Park, through the gorgeous neighborhoods, to St Armands Circle and return along Ben Franklin Drive along Lido Beach.

Directions

Via US 41, turn westbound onto John Ringling Blvd. From I-75, take exit 210, Fruitville Road, westbound (approx 5 miles). Turn left of US 41 (about 3/10 mile), turn right (westbound) onto John Ringling Blvd. Cross 2 bridges to St Armands Circle and follow signs to South Lido Park

Additional Information

Post-race features fruit, noshes, hot dogs on the grill, beverages and free beer. This year-tech shirts for 5K participants!
