Brief Description

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR 2012 - WE ARE FULL!! 1/2 MARATHON Mostly flat and fast course starts at Sandpoint City Beach to Bridge Street to 1st Ave to pedestrian long bridge to Monarch R turn around and back same route onto new Sand Creek Bike Path turn around and back to City Beach. 10K Run starts at Sandpoint City Beach out to Long Bridge turn around at Northern Energy and back to Sandpoint City Beach.

TIMING The half marathon,10K & 5K will be chip timed by Milliseconds. Participants must wear the timing chip provided in their race packet. REFUNDS No refunds after June 15, 2012. Please call the Chamber for more details (208) 263-2161 RACE PARTICIPANT MAXIMUMS Half Marathon—700 runners maximum 10K—200 runners maximum 5K—100 runners maximum COURSE TIME LIMITS The course will officially open at 8:30 am on Sunday, Sept. 16th and close at 12:30 pm. The Finish Line also will close at 12:30 pm. WATER STATIONS The course will have water and sports drink available at all water/aid stations approximately every 1-2 miles on the course. AWARDS Half Marathon All half marathon entrants receive a technical t-shirt and all finishers receive a medal. Age group winners, 3 deep in 5 year increments starting at 20-24 through 65-69 as well as below 19 and over 70 will be presented a medal at the awards ceremony. 10K All 10K entrants will receive a short sleeve cotton t-shirt. Age group winners 3 deep in 5 year increments starting at 20-24 through 65-69 as well as below 19 and over 70 will receive medals at the awards ceremony.
