Brief Description

1/2 MARATHON Mostly flat and fast course starts at Sandpoint City Beach. From start line, cross over Bridge St., turn south on First Ave. and cross the Long Bridge on pedestrian path. Continue south along the bike path to Sagle Road to the turn around at Sagle Elementary. This is an out and back course. 10K Begins at City Beach and follows the half marathon course with the turn around just south of the Long Bridge. 5K Same as the 10K except turn around is just before the Long Bridge.

TIMING The half marathon,10K & 5K will be chip timed by Milliseconds. Participants must wear the timing chip provided in their race packet. RACE PARTICIPANT MAXIMUMS Half Marathon—700 runners maximum 10K—200 runners maximum 5K—100 runners maximum COURSE TIME LIMITS The course will officially open at 8:30 am on Sunday, Sept. 18th and close at 12:30 pm. The Finish Line also will close at 12:30 pm. WATER STATIONS The course will have water and sports drink available at all water/aid stations approximately every 1-2 miles on the course. AWARDS Half Marathon All half marathon entrants receive a technical long sleeve t-shirt and all finishers receive a medal. Age group winners, 3 deep in 5 year increments starting at 20-24 through 65-69 as well as below 19 and over 70 will be presented a medal at the awards ceremony. 10K All 10K entrants will receive a short sleeve cotton t-shirt. Age group winners 3 deep in 5 year increments starting at 20-24 through 65-69 as well as below 19 and over 70 will receive medals at the awards ceremony.
