Brief Description

Welcome to the Turkey Tri. Come out and BURN those holiday calories with triathlon distances challenging enough for the seasoned triathlete, yet short enough for the novice triathlete.

Awards

Since everyone is getting a medal this year division winners will get a cool 16oz logoed drinking glass. Look for our cool Turkey Tri original glasses awarded to the top 3 male/female finishers in each age group.

Directions

Bonelli Park in San Dimas is easy to get to. Find maps and directions at www.renegaderaceseries.com. Exit Via Verde from CA-57 and follow the signs to Bonelli Park (120 Via Verde Park Road, San Dimas, CA 91773). Enter through the park gate on Via Verde (South Side) and take either your 1st or 2nd left for event parking. Bonelli Park charges an $10 parking fee upon entering so carpool when possible and have your $10 ready.

Pumpkin Pie Duathlon

Do you have a child who wants to participate in more then a run. The Pumpkin Pie Duathlon is a 1/2 mile run, 2 mile bike and a 1/2 mile run. This is the perfect way to get them ready for their first triathlon. recommended for kids age 6-12. $5 USAT annual license required.

San Dimas Turkey Trot (11-26)

Looking for something more another great holiday weekend activity? Come out for the Turkey Trot on Saturday. The San Dimas Turkey Trot features a 5K and 10K runs. We have a kids run too. Find out more about the Turkey Trot by clicking Here!

The Course

The event begins with a fun filled ½ mile, calm, lake swim. The bike is a 14 mile (2-loop) course that is mostly flat with a couple of small hills. And the run is 4.5 miles on paved roads and paved trails.

Additional Information

By popular demand the Pumpkin Pie Kids Duathlon is back for 2010, recommended for kids 6~12. Kids will love the 1/2 mile run, 2 mile bike and 1/2 mile run. It's the perfect way to get you child started in multi-sport events. All kids will get a finishers medal.
